2nd Annual North Pole Breakfast

Our Elf, Alfie arrived on Sunday morning! We celebrated the start of the Christmas season with our 2nd Annual North Pole breakfast.

We had fun making our festive breakfast goodies--Christmas tree waffles with candy ornaments and a bacon trunk, banana and blueberry snowmen, strawberry and banana candy canes, yogurt with Christmas sprinkles and everybody's favorite: Snownuts.

Sorry for the blurry picture but they were so excited when they saw all the decorations and goodies!

Andrew was pretty delighted about getting to eat candy for breakfast!

Sticking up crazy morning hair. Powdered sugar mustache. Perfection. =)

And Alfie even brought a little gift for each boy.

New Christmas jammies!

We read the story of our Elf and brushed up on the rule of not touching him. Jackson then started recounting all of Alfie's antics from last year which made me realize Alfie will have to get more creative than perhaps we thought--Jackson will remember if there are repeats!

Once we were all sugared up, we turned on the Christmas tunes and got to work decorating the tree.

I had two very eager helpers this year!

The bottom 3 feet of the tree were decorated quite extensively!

Yes, it is really beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!
